SIERRA 1138 PRODUCTIONS is an award winning production company based in the UK. Credits include NOW I AM BECOME DEATH and MOTHER, which have had significant showings at festivals on the international stage, with the latest production VENATORIS being planned as a proof of concept short film that will act as a platform for the company’s first feature length film.

NOW I AM BECOME DEATH premiered at the 2017 Festival de Cannes, and MOTHER won the company’s first landmark award for best music at the Jane Austin International Film Festival 2024, a significant achievement given the films heavy musical theme and came second place from over 100 competing films for best-micro short horror film at the 2024 Lit Scares International Horror Festival.

With a passion for storytelling and a firm belief in prioritising audience entertainment SIERRA 1138 PRODUCTIONS was formed by Thomas R. Houston to not only develop his own stories but to work with others to help develop their stories, especially new emerging film-makers looking to make their fist film or perhaps just seeking advise on narrative structure, financing or navigating the complex landscape of film distribution.
